NATO's First Mission: Defending Muslims in Europe?

and democracy in the Arab world.
Paris - NATO was founded nearly 40 years ago to
defend Europe against the Soviet Union. Yet, its first full-fledged mission
has turned out to be the defense of Muslims in Europe from genocide. Or
so it has been provocatively put.
