The Kyoto Treaty: A Coming of Age for the Human Race


Benjamin D. Santer, Research Scientist with the Program for Climate Model Diagnosis on Intercomparison at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, is one of the chief proponents of the global warming theory.

Berkeley - My job as a scientist is to study the nature and causes of climate change. In April 1994, I was invited to act as Convening Lead Author of one chapter of a report by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change. The IPCC was established by the United Nations in 1988 to keep governments apprised of our scientific understanding of climate change.
